I was born and raised in Dutchess County, New York on our family farm where five generations have come before me. On the farm is where I learned, lived, and came to understand the value of hard work, perseverance, challenges and risks that go along with building, operating and owning a small business. This way of life also lent itself to a sense of community and its importance as a resource of knowledge, support and of neighbors helping neighbors.
